Moving Too Fast

It's not a secret that Duncan is growing up way too fast...he is sitting up, almost crawling, eating up a storm, telling stories, picking up his toys, inspecting them, checking out everything and everyone in his path....and now, feeding himself.  With a spoon.  Last weekend when Auntie Kayla and Uncle Eric were still at our house I was feeding Duncan.  And apparently since I was talking to someone else I simply was not feeding him fast enough.  So, Dunc took the spoon out of my hand and did it himself.  He took the spoon, put it to his mouth, sucked the yummies off, and wanted more.  And then he did it again.

It took quite a bit more for Griff to master this trick, and if I recall it was much later.  Dunc, stop growing up so fast!  I'm happy that your motor skills are second to none, but for mama, stay little for just a little while longer.

Oh, and let me rock you.  Just once before you learn to walk.  Please.
