Buzz Cut

Griffin's hair has been growing quite quickly...and until very recently, it was growing in straight up. He had his own little baby buzz cut! It has now started to lay down a little bit more, except after baths and after we fluff it up. At one point, his hair was in such military mode that the doctor asked at his two month appointment (only half jokingly) if we had already had his hair cut!

Two Month Stats/Appointment

Griffin's two-month doctor's apppointment went well...he weighed in at 13 pounds measured 24 inches long (no need for a re-try this time)...75-90th percentile for both. It looks like he is well on his way to being as big as his daddy. G. tolerated his shots like a champ, though it was not so easy for the rest of us!

Two Months Old!

It's hard to believe that our little guy is two months old already! He is really strong, and loves to hold his head up and push his chest up with his arms. He is very liberal with his sweet smiles, and we have heard him laugh (in his sleep...Ben worries that if he has funny dreams...what will happen if he has nightmares??). He is really just so much fun to be around! We don't take him to the doctor until later this week, so we'll post more after the appointment. Until then, here is our adorable little baby (there are more pictures on the picture site if you want to check those out too):
This is how I get what I want!

This is how I roll.

I love my Grandpa Pucci!

Tucker likes to make sure that I am super-clean...I guess he doesn't trust mommy and daddy's bathing skills.

Pucci Mechanical Shop?

For quite some time...nearly as long as we've lived in this house...we have had a large lawnmower and blade sitting in our garage taking up space. In fact, all it was good for was preventing me from putting the carseat in the car without backing out of the garage first...until now. This weekend Ben and Tom decided to try their hands at mechanic-ing (for lack of a better word) and I have to be honest, I was skeptical...and by their own admissions, so were they. However, a few hours, a few chemical spills, and one trip to Farm n' Fleet later, we heard the roar from inside. Soon (and I knew we would...I was waiting for it) we saw Ben pull up in the backyard tooling around on "his machine."
I'm very proud of the two of them and, though I can certainly wait for the snow, it will be much quicker to plow it off of the driveway than shovel it! Nice work, boys!
