Clowning, Crawling and Choosing!

Just a cute snapshot of the boys together as I was taking Duncan's Four Month shots

Griff likes to hold Duncan's hand

And G likes to be silly.  Some good news is that we are working hard on Mr. Duncan's skin...he has uber-sensitive skin and has been a drooling machine lately (that's right I think teeth are soon to come) but the past couple of days Duncan's face has cleared up...no more redness...back to soft kissable cheekies.  The rest of his body, however, is rashy and looks uncomfortable.  We ordered some cream that the pediatrician recommended....so we shall see.

If he can get his hand in his mouth, I can get my FOOT in my mouth...see me try...

And Ms. Claire came over Sunday for a big project...gutting the toyroom and putting it back together.  It was a HUGE task and that is why we called in special reinforcements.  Claire was an amazing help (could not have done it without her, that is for sure) and when we were done...she "taught" Duncan to crawl.  (No, he didn't really crawl, but he does a fun move she named the "swim" so maybe it is close)!

We tried to have Griff join in the picture.  Clearly that was not a success.

Kissable cheekies

This is another of Duncan's new moves...he likes to bite/chew on his lower lip.  Built in teether apparently.

And Claire even fed Duncan his nigh nigh bottle.  One amazing chica!

And today Griff and I hit Home Depot to pick out some paint for the rental townhouse...a new family is moving in and their little girl needed pink rather than purple in her bedroom; Griff and I were happy to oblige.  I would ask him if he liked a color and he would put his finger to his mouth..."Hmmmm...noooo."  Unfortunately, his choice (a neon yellow) didn't make the final cut. And while we were waiting we played a color-guessing game with the paint chips.

And as we were checking out this honest little boy tried very hard to pay for his paint chip samples.  We talk about how we have to use our money to pay for things we get at the store and apparently it is sinking in.  But this time, instead of paying for his color samples he GOT a sticker.  A new concept he will get the hang of quickly: being cute gets you stuff.  :)
