Fivesome
Yesterday Griffin and I got the opportunity to join in on Grandma Kris, Grandpa Tom, and Daddy's game of golf. We met up with them right before the 9th hole, and Griff lasted to the 18th! He (not surprisingly) loved riding in the cart and "driving" it...when we took hills his belly laughs were irresistable. He explored some of the foilage and avoided all ants and snakes (i.e. we didn't see any, thankfully). He also took a couple of swings, just like his Dad.

More Days at Disney
Just wanted to post some more pics from our last few days at Disney. Griffin absolutely loved it, and was so well-behaved. He has been SO happy and in such a great mood since we've been on vacation. I've gotten more hugs and kisses that I haven't asked for since we've been gone...love that for sure.
We had a farewell lunch at T-Rex, and this guy watched over us as we ate! Scary!

Hanging out in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area
Uh oh, someone shrunk the tunnel on Grandpa and Griffin (they climbed up and into this tunnel and we had no idea where & IF they'd come back out)! Daddy went in to check it out and found Grandpa crawling around on his knees with Griff. Too fun.

Mama? Dada?
One of Griffin's nightly routines after he goes to bed is to calmly go through words he knows. We'll hear turtle...Tucker....neigh...and of course Mama and Dada. The simple requests for "Mama?" and "Dada?" are so adorable and I usually can't resist. Tonight after he went down (we're still at Disney) we took a quick video. He's still asking for us as I type this (no crying, just calm requests) and I'll probably cave. I'm only human. :)

Celebration & Epcot
We are having a great time on our vaca so far...we spent the first night in a fun hotel in Celebration, FL and then met up with Grandma Kris and Grandpa Tom today for our first day at Disney....which we spent at Epcot and saw the Candelight Processional. Griff has been loving it so far and has been very good given the circumstances and the change in routine as well as less sleep (and this boy LOVES his sleep - just like his daddy)!
You'll notice some of these pictures are a little better quality -- because Daddy got an fancy new "big" camera as an early Christmas present. It takes great pictures and Ben has quite the knack.
Tonight we checked into our awesome Treehouse Villa...our own little house on stilts. Griff ran around and got out his sillies and then crashed.
Our great hotel for the first night

Griff LOVED playing on the balcony

We had some yummy ice cream and spring water for "snack"

Snow & Water
We had our first snow of the season this weekend...we woke up to it Saturday morning so I headed out to get Griff some snowpants and boots. He looked so cute in his snowpants and boots....but kind of hated the snow. It was hard for him to walk...he kept falling over...all in all I think we are going to have to warm him up a bit to the white stuff. He did however, like when Daddy put him on top of the car and buried his legs in packed-down snow & he kept asking for more. Maybe when we get back from Florida, Griff (we leave Tuesday and are so excited)!
And then this morning we had Griff's baptism. He did very well and we were very proud of our little man. It was absolutely a great morning.

Up in the Tree
We were decorating the tree last night, and Ben was up on the chair putting some ornaments up high. Griff seemed disinterested (actually he was ONLY interested in the Christmas ornament we got him this year: The Piston Cup Christmas Tree with Lightening and Mater). I was digging for more ornaments and I turned around and found Griff "up up" with Daddy. I think they did more clowning around up there than hanging. :)

Griff could NOT wait (literally, he was not fond of waiting in line this time) to see LIGHTENING and Mater! He was beyond excited.
