Two weekends ago the boys and I headed down to the farm to visit Gpa Bill and Gma Cathy...we went to a tractor pull to watch Gpa win TWICE (yay Gpa Bill!) and also milled around the Arenzville Burgoo - even bought some soup to bring home to eat (yum).  After the festivities in Arenzville, Griff and Gpa Bill decided to pick some corn.  AND, Gma Khaki and Duncan also went along for the ride.  Needless to say, G was, again, in heaven.  What an experience.  :)  And on the way back home Sunday, we stopped by Great Gpa Henry and Great Gma Lea's house for some lunch and more family time.

Griff LOVES to sing (and dance).  His favs are Winnie the Pooh, Little One (a bedtime "baby song"), Twinkle Twinkle, any of the songs from the Lorax especially "How Bad Can I Be?", and Baby Beluga.  I think the cutest part of his "Baby Beluga" is how he puts so much soul into the "OH" in beteween the Baby Belugas.  LOVE hearing him sing...when I am watching but especially when he doesn't know I am listening and he is singing to himself.  :)

 

 

Muffins With Mommy Part Deux

Last weekend, just as I used to do when Griff was smaller (and still do!) D got his own, special "muffins with mommy" time.  We had a great time having some breakfast together, while he checked out everyone.  Everyone.  Including the high school volleyball team that invaded Panera.  :)

He felt that if he rested some muffin on the lid of his sippy, he could drink AND eat at the same time. 

He does not like food cut up or broken up.  He wants the BIG pieces and the bigger the better, much to mommy's chagrin.
