Cute Random Pictures

Our nanny takes a lot of great pictures during the day and I have stolen some of the cute ones to post on our blog and added some of my own. It is just so ridiculously fun to be around Griff these days, his personality blows my mind. He is so full of energy that there are times I can barely keep up. We are constantly thinking of new activities we can take him to or engage him in so that we can keep him challenged. His Kid Rock class that he attends once a week is a good energy outlet, and we are also going to start regular trips to Monkey Joe's to get out some sillies. He and I hit the pool again this weekend - I think swimming is his favorite activity. He wore his swim vest ("bubble") that is just now fitting him...he is my little fearless fish. He jumps off the side and then asks me "again?" He goes down the slide then swims back to it..."again?" He does not hold still...unless he gets to watch a "mo-mo" (movie) as a treat, which we do on occasion in order to relax.

I'm going to try to take a few pictures each day and post them so that Ben, who is gone this month in trial downstate, can see and be entertained by Griff's antics as much as possible.

He prefers his food in larger chunks these days or he may refuse to touch it. No baby pieces for this big boy!

We had a movie night in mommy's bed, complete with popcorn!

He kept his eyes on the show and his hand in the bowl, which seemed so grown up to me.

Here is Griff with his tower - he is very proud of it.

And he won't knock it down. If he decides it has to come down he takes it down block by block, after inspecting each animal.

One day his nanny reported that he found his boots, and INSISTED on wearing them for the remainder of the day. When she tried to take them off he adamantly insisted "NO!"

He wore them to read books

And to grill, of course.

He's also getting very good at identifying his colors, and this materpiece is proudly displayed as of today in my office. It's for sure one of my favorites.
