Bloopers...and other Cute Ones...

Below are some of the pics that didn't make it into the V'Day Card...but I love them nonetheless.  Now our photo shoot yesterday with the professional photographer?  That's another story.  I don't know how many of those we can call "bloopers"...not a fun experience for the Pucci Family.  Let's hope Amy O can work some photoshop magic!  I will share the good, the bad, and the ugly when those come out.  :)

In this shot you can see the red mark on the side of Duncan's head.  Yes, Griff doesn't ALWAYS love his brother...this is from earlier in the day when Griff whacked Duncan upside the head with a toy.  Duncan took it like a champ.

Clearly Ms. Asha is scaring the pants off of Griff here...

Another view of the wound, and Duncan's fav activity...slobbering!  :)

So what if I have gorgeous eyes and two cute teeth?

Be Mine!

So...this is a post about both boys...a story of Griff's with pictures of Duncan's lovies...

So before Valentine's Day Griffin and I were practicing telling each other to: "Be Mine!"  And he had the phrase down pat.  When he gave Ms. Asha her V'Day goodies asked her to "be his" and he and I had exchanged it a few times, too.  But, at bedtime, he had also begun to say it.  So it has become a part of our bedtime routine now.  After books and baby songs I will blow him kisses and end with "be mine" to which he answers as I shut the door, "be mine!"  And I love it!

Last night Griff had some difficulty getting to bed and he begged me to come to "mama's bed," which, after my own heart, is his favorite place in the world to snuggle/hide/read books/hide favorite toys, etc.  So he came to mama's bed.  And after I tucked him in he asked me to turn the "light off!"  So I did.  And as we were laying there in the dark getting to sleep I hear a little whisper, "be mine, mommy."  Done, Griff!  :)

And here is Dunc with HIS Valentine, Tucker!  Tucker is so good with Duncan and D just adores him.

And this wasn't just Duncan falling into Tucker - they snuggled like this for a while

And his newest lovie...his Kushie Giraffe from Gma "Khaki" (per Griff)

He will snuggle Tucker, and his kushie, now I have to get him to snuggle his mommy just the same!  We are working on it.  Slowly but surely...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Cat Meow???

Okay.  So Griffin's blanket, his lovie, somehow came to be called his "cat meow."  His choice.  And I love how, for two years old, he has a very distinct set of likes and dislikes.  He came to really love his lovie early...a long time ago.  And I bought more lovies (the exact same)...because I was nervous: what would happen if we LOST it?  So, much to Ben's chagrin, we have several.  But, the most recent...it's the only cat meow now in Griffin's eyes.  They look the same, albeit the "real" CM is a little bit softer.  They all get washed.  But Griff?  Griff can tell the difference in a second.  By SMELL alone.  And please note, all blankies get washed regularly!  He will pick one up...smell it, and if it isn't CM, he will throw it down with a quick "noooo" until he finds the true CM.  We find it kind of amazing.  And when he finds the CM, he does a little squeal.  :)

So we took videos...a little "taste test" if you will.  How easily can Griff detect the true Cat Meow???

Even  by sight!

And in this one...he knew that both options failed...neither were his CM!

Comin' In...

This "little" boy...has two teeth!  This isn't "new" news, as I am reporting this a bit late (as in a week or so late).  But Mr. Duncan has two bottom teeth, and I am betting that soon he will have THREE bottom teeth as he is hard at work on that third.  And tonight was his first night in 2T pajamas.  Yep.  My littlest man really needs to give us some more baby time...for reals...too much growing, Dunc!

Routine Sillies

Just had a few pics of our daily routines to post...

Griff is still loving the runs with mommy...he gets bundled up and just relaxes.  I still check in periodically and make sure he is good...and he insists..."no going home...keep GOING!"  My little motivator.

Red nose, but a smiling face.

Duncan is absolutely mesmerized by Tucker.  Whenever Tuck is around, Dunc stops what he is doing to smile, try to pet him, and just watch his every move.  He also loves when we howl with Tucker...pictured here.  :)

Happy Baby!

Griff is so helpful...here he is helping Dunc after he rolled backwards.

And here he is "getting" Dunc's toes

Daddy kissing the alligator at breakfast

Did I mention Griff likes to "get" (tickle) is brother?  Here he is "getting" his fingers...and loving the giggles he gets in return.
